Entered into rest Wednesday, February 21, 2007, Miss Betty Jean Adkinson, age 61, of Graniteville, S.C., beloved daughter of Betty Jane Burroughs Cook of Graniteville and the late Otis Adkinson.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her stepfather, Charles H. Cook of Graniteville; a son, Charles Benjamin "Benjie" Brewer of Graniteville; and several aunts and cousins.
She was born in Augusta, Georgia but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County. She was a licensed cosmetologist. She was of the Holiness faith.
The funeral service will be conducted Friday, February 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Phillips officiating.
The interment will follow in the Graniteville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends tonight Thursday, February 22, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829.
