Gail P. Hicks, age 76 of Massillon, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 6, 1937 in North Tonawanda, NY and was the daughter of the late Angeline Schuster.
Gail was very active in the community. She was a member of the Lady Lions, the Massillon Women's Club, she enjoyed playing cards and was an artistic person who enjoyed painting and crafting. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by husband, Donald L. Hicks and her sister, Leticia Waltman.
She is survived by her children, and their spouses, Joel and Barbara Hicks, Michael and Bridget Hicks, Debra and Lon Hostetler and Susan Hicks Neglic. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
A service to celebrate her life will take place on Monday at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, with her pastor, Chip Belanga officiating. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Sunday from 4-8 P.M. and on Monday one hour before the service at the church.
