Helen Julia Kee, 84, of Carlinville, formerly of Decatur, died Thursday, December 20, 2007, in Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Carlinville.
Mrs. Kee was born April 1, 1923, in Evanston, the daughter of Frank and Caroline Hilbert. She married John A. Kee January 25, 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1996. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Women’s Bowling Assoc., and retired in 1985 from the village of Mt. Zion where she worked as a bookkeeper.
Surviving are her daughters: Barbara J. (husband, Robert) of Glendale, AZ, Linda R. (husband, Dennis) of Carlinville, and Susan of Mesa, AZ; brother, Tony (wife, Joyce) of Nashville, TN; grandchildren: Todd, Brian, and Chad, Kevin and Megan and Amber; eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.
Burial will follow in Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
