Ramona Lynn Bailey, 62, of Maple Ridge Township, MN died Monday, November 21, 2011 at her home.

Memorial Services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 26, 2011 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Red Lake, MN with Fr. Jerry Rogers officiating. Visitation will be from 11-1pm prior to the service at the church on Saturday. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji assisted the family with arrangements.

She was born August 7, 1949 in Red Lake, MN. She attended school in Red Lake, St. Mary's Mission and graduated from Red Lake High School in 1967.

She married Larry Bailey on February 20, 1971 in St. Paul, MN. They lived in Eden Prairie until 1977 when they moved to Maple Ridge Township. She worked for Indian Health Service for over 30 years retiring in 2009. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed making crafts and floral arrangements, baking, planning family events, spending time with her nieces and nephews, going to the casino, working in her flower garden and shopping with Jo. She was the backbone of her family and was always there for anyone that needed her. During her 4 year battle with cancer she helped so many with her pep talks and her encouragement not to give up. She was a very caring, loving person and always had a smile. She enjoyed having family get togethers, Halloween parties, Easter egg hunts and 4th of July parties.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Bailey of Maple Ridge Township, son, Corey Bailey of Maple Ridge Township, mother, Alvina Strong of Redby, 5 sisters, Cheryl Stately of Warroad, Jo (Larry) Dudley of Redby, Beverly (Kevin) Neadeau of Redby and Billie Jean (Randy) Strong of Red Lake, and Michelle (Bob) Strong, 2 brothers, Steve Strong of Redby and Raymond Strong of Redby, uncle, Roman "Ducker" Stately of Red Lake, aunt, Margaret "Ladybug" Johnson of Redby and mother-in-law, Katherine Duderstadt of Bemidji.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Harvey Strong, grandparents, Roman and Rose Stately, uncles, Jerry, Clarence and George Stately and aunts, Marian Stately and Mary "Peaches" Roy.
