Bernard Lee Boyd, 56, of Route 2, Pulaski, (Shiloh) died Saturday morning, June 24, 1995, in Pulaski Community Hospital.
He was born in Pulaski on Jan. 15,1939, and was the son of the late Bernard Issac Boyd.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joy Regina Boyd.
He was an employee of Vaughan-Bassett Furniture Co., Galax, Va.
Surviving are his wife, Carol Hylton Boyd, of Pulaski; a son, Tony L. Boyd, Pulaski, a son and daughter-in-law, Stephan and Debbie Boyd of Dublin; a daughter, Evelyn F. Boyd of Pulaski; two grandsons, Charles and Brandon Abbott; his mother, Stella Quesenberry Boyd, Shiloh; one brother and sister in- law, Bill and Edna Boyd, Dublin; one sister and brother- in-law, Ruby and Tyre Grouse, Dublin; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Chester Linkous and the Rev. Jim Linkous officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery, Pulaski County. Visiting will be Monday evening at Stevens Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. The family will be meeting at the residence of the son and daughter-in-law, Stephan and Debbie Boyd, 138 Wright Ave., Dublin.
