Ada — Services for Johnny Lee McDonald, 51, of Ada are at 1 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Tony Folger will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Mr. McDonald died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, at his home. He was born March 10, 1962, in El Paso, Texas, to James L. and Maria Ramos McDonald. He and his family moved to Roff about 1968 from Sunnyvale, Calif. He graduated from Roff High School. He married Michele Furr. Mr. McDonald was a greenskeeper at Oak Hills Golf and Country Club for 23 years. He later was employed with Apex Engineering. Survivors include his wife, Michele McDonald, of the home; three daughters, Vanassa Hurley and husband, Shawn, of Ada, Vonda Relander of Brownsville,Texas, and Jennifer Franklin of Ada; three sons, Johnny Lee McDonald Jr. and wife, Jessica, of Ada, Bradley Maynard and wife, Kirsten, of Ada, and Zackery Maynard of Ada; three brothers, Gerald "Butch" McDonald of Davis, Jimmy Eichelberger of Sayre and Jamie McDonald and wife, Sandy, of Salt Lake City, Utah; two sisters, Lydia Glover and husband, Michael, Quincy, Calif., and Carrie Harris and Tom Shaw of Ada; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Frances Janie Workman.
