Mrs. Frances M. Anderson, 59, of 705 N. Fillmore St. died at 7 a.m. Wednesday in her home.
Mrs. Anderson was born on March 10, 1913, in Madison. She was the daughter of the late William and Pauline [Chesnalovich] Karpowicz.
She was married to Carl F. Anderson on Dec. 18, 1935, in Edwardsville. He survives.
Mrs. Anderson is also survived by a son, Lyn L. Anderson of San Diego, Calif., and a daughter, Mrs. Darwin (Joan) Bohnenstiehl of Atlanta, Ga. Also surviving are brothers John Karpowicz of Peoria, Edward Karpowicz of Half Moon Bay, Calif., and Joseph Karpowicz of San Mateo, Calif., and sisters Mrs. Mallory (Mary) Swinney of Alton and Mrs. Roland (Carolyn) Sax of Belleville. Two grandchildren survive.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by one sister.
She was a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist in Edwardsville.
There will be no visitation. Private funeral services will be at Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel on Friday.
The family requests that memorials be given to the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Edwardsville.
