Gloria Jean Tidwell, age 67 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013. Funeral Service will be Thursday, August 29th at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Forrest Creekmore officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Park with family serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 28th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursday, August 29th from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Tidwell was born December 4, 1945 in Gallatin, TN, daughter of the late Homer and Helen Bruce Ligon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Tidwell and Brother, Johnny Ray Ligon. She is survived by son, Virgil Lee Tidwell; brother, Homer Ligon, Jr. (Peggy); sisters, Patricia Faye Wright (Jimmy) and Connie Sue Russell (Cordis) all of Gallatin; grandchildren, Justin Lee Tidwell (Diane) of Georgia and Jake Tidwell of Lebanon; and special friend, Donald Smith of Gallatin.
