Mr. Charles Arthur Runyon, 80, of Oak Grove Heights, AR., passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR.
Mr. Runyon was born in Winchester, IN., on December 3, 1932.
He was a retired supervisor at Southern Steel and Wire. He was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by two sons Charles Runyon of wife Donna of Richmond, IN., Gary Runyon of Lakeland, FL.; one sister Ruth Berry of Richmond, IN.; five grandchildren Nick Runyon, Leonda Maiden, Jasmine Ray, Daniel Runyon, Jr., Sunshine Ketcherside; twelve great-grandchldren CJ Runyon, Natalie Runyon, Kayleigh Runyon, Breeana Runyon, Cason Runyon, Cassidy Lamb, Brent Lamb, Charles C. Ray, Tyler Ray, Kayden Ray, Elizabeth Ketcherside, Brandon Ketcherside and daughter-in-law Mary Walker.
He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Bessie (Anderson) Runyon; one son Daniel Runyon, Sr.; three sisters Anna Mae Powers, Marian Runyon, Nora White; two great-great-grand-children Jessica Runyon and Christa Ketcherside.
Graveside funeral services were held at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR. with Emert Funeral Home in charge.
