Mr. Jeffery Lee Adams, age 56, a resident of the Glen Alice Community of Rockwood, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at his residence. He was born March 30, 1957 in Rockwood, Tennessee. Jeff attended the North Rockwood Baptist Church in Rockwood and was recently re-employed with Alba Health in Rockwood, having previously worked there for several years. He loved his family and flower gardening; and according to his family was the kindest hearted person they knew. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernie & Noama Miller, and Addison & Pauline Adams; brother-in-law, Wayne Reid; and nephew, Dwayne Reid.
Survivors include Parents Bob & Sarah Adams of Rockwood, TNBrother & Sister-in-law Steve & Carolyn Adams of Rockwood, TN Sister Judy Reid of Corbin, KY Nieces Stephanie Birchfield & husband, Jason of Rockwood, TN Stacey Smit & husband, Jon of Rockwood, TN Allison Giles of Rockwood, TN Jill Reid of Corbin, KY Special Great Niece and Great Nephews Hadley Giles Hunter Reid Clayton Smith And several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of special friends left to mourn his loss.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Ben Whittenbarger officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Glen Alice Cemetery in Rockwood Evans Mortuary of Rockwood is serving the family.
