Benjamin B. McQueen died at his home northeast of Robinson on Thursday, Jan. 17, 1901, of pneumonia. He was born in Bartholomew County, Ind., June 5, 1832, and was therefore 68 years, 7 months and 12 days old. He joined the Methodist Episcopal church in 1851 and remained a devout Christian until death.
Funeral services were held at the residence, conducted by Rev. J. W. McNeill.
The body was taken to Columbus, Ind. for interment on Friday. It was accompanied by George E. McQueen of this county and Everet McQueen of Columbus, who came to Robinson on receipt of news of his father's illness and death.
