OBIT:

Edward D. Hendrickson of Clifford, 82, died at 1:30 Saturday afternoon at Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis, where he had been a patient two weeks. He had been in ill health several years.

He was born December 27, 1878, in Pulaski County to Mr. and Mrs. John L. Hendrickson and was married to the former Miss Jennie Everroad, who died in 1937.

Mr. Hendrickson had resided in Clifford the past 65 years and was a member of Clifford Red Men Lodge. He had formerly been an auto mechanic.

Survivors include four brothers, Ambrose Hendrickson of Zion, Illinois, George Hendrickson of Columbus, Pat Hendrickson of Clifford and Arnold Hendrickson of Lexington, North Carolina and a sister, Mrs. Elsie Baker of Shelbyville.

Funeral will be at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon at Norman Funeral Home at Hope, with burial at Liberty Cemetery. The Rev. Wayne Bozell of Clifford United Church of Christ will conduct at the rites. The casket is open at the funeral home.
