Danny McCabe, 62, Blue Knob, passed away Friday. He was born in Pontiac, Mich., son of Francis Charles 'Buck' and the late Marlene Rose (Corneail) McCabe. Surviving are his father and stepmother, Arlene; wife, Darlene (Burger); children: Melissa Miller, Wendy Black, Trisha Lowe and Heidi McCabe; stepchildren: Thomas and Jason Plummer, Heather Plummer-Karalfa and Ashley Plummer; 18 grandchildren; and a sibling, Dale "Bacon." Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, where funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. Charles Kephart officiating. Committal will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Blue Knob.
