Alene Morgan Harvey
FAIRLEA — Alene Morgan Harvey, 87, of Fairlea passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at The Brier Nursing Facility.
Mrs. Harvey was the last surviving member of her immediate family born to the union of the late Lundy and Louella Mann Morgan.
Alene was a member of Greenbrier Baptist Church in Ronceverte, member of the Ladies Missionary Group of the Church, past member of the Business and Professional Women (BPW) and Fairlea Firemenettes. Mrs. Harvey had worked as a Secretary for the Ashford General Hospital, C & P Telephone Company and Aide's Discount Store.
She is preceded in death by her husband Handley Ross Harvey, Sisters: Evalee Holley, Elmira Honaker, Blanche Simms, Lillian Morgan and Edna Morgan; Brothers: George and Raymond Morgan.
Those left to cherish Alene's memory are her daughters: Sherry Tokarz and her husband Andrew of Sam Black, WV, and Jo Harvey Moellendick of Mt. Zion, WV; Grandchildren: Michael Tokarz of Akron, OH; Amber Price Fox and husband J.T. of Glenville, WV; Tyson Price and wife Britni of Glenville, WV; and Great-Grandson, Keaton Burch of Glenville, WV; along with several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Funeral services for Mrs. Harvey will be on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Timothy Dillon officiating. Interment will follow at the Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.
The family will receive their family and friends from 12 p.m. until time of the services on Tuesday.
