Jo Anne Bray, 74, of Camdenton passed away Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006, at Boone Hospital Center.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, at Parker Funeral Service with the Rev. Kenneth Watson officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be after the service at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Bray was born Dec. 7, 1931, in Los Angeles, the only child of Theodore H. and Bernice Woodward Pace.
She married William A. Bray on Feb. 8, 1953, and he preceded her in death in 2004.
She was a devoted and loving homemaker and mother. She helped to establish and manage the Missouri Press Clipping Bureau in the 1950s with her husband.
She was a member of the Missouri Press Foundation, the Constance Emig Circle of Kings Daughters, Camdenton United Methodist Church and the Tracy Carroll Hospice House committee.
She loved her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, David P. Bray and wife Deborah of Columbia; a daughter, Brenda Ledbetter and husband Michael of Camdenton; and six grandchildren, Lucas and Trent Ledbetter, Katherine and Christine Bray and Courtney and Ashley Brown.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
