Amy K. Moore age 83 of Harrisburg passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at her home. Born June 29, 1929 in Carlisle, PA she was the daughter of the late Lee and Marie (Ahlers) Shumberger.
Amy was a lifetime member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Churchtown.
Amy is preceded in death by her husband Charles; daughter Kathryn; brothers William, John and Robert Shumberger; sisters Anna Mae Hall and Lois Chronister. She is survived by her six children, Arty (Peggy) Moore of Mechanicsburg, Sue (Paul) Daube of Harrisburg, Nancy (Ted) Kinsey of Harrisburg, William (Saundra) Moore of Auburn, Michael (Robin) Moore of Harrisburg and Kenneth (Judith) Moore of Harrisburg. Also survived by her four siblings Frieda Kann, James Shumberger, Paul Shumberger and Thomas Shumberger. She was also a proud grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Malpezzi Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg where there will be a viewing beginning at 11:00 A.M.Burial will take place at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
