Mr. Julian W. Brondel, age 70 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Monday, October 19, 2009, at his home. He was born December 17, 1938, at Jefferson City, Mo., the son of Victor William and Hilda Swanson Brondel. Mr. Brondel was married April 30, 1960, at St. Martin's Catholic Church, to Patricia Joan Boeckman, who survives of the home.

He attended school at St. Martin's Catholic School and was a graduate of the St. Peters High School. Mr. Brondel had been employed as a steel fabricator with DeLong's, Inc. for many years. He was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Brondel; four children, Cheryl Giboney of Blue Springs, Cindy Iman of Kansas City, Renee Brondel of Belle, and Stacy Brondel of Hannibal; five grandchildren, Sara Giboney, Kyle Giboney, Josh Brondel, Katie Giboney, and Michael Brondel; one great-grandchild, and five sisters.

Private family services will be held. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the Buescher Memorial Home.
