Donald J. Hill, 91, of Spring Township, passed away Novmeber 2, 2013 at 12:32 am in his home. He was the husband of the late LaVerne J. (Troelsch) Hill. Born in Reading he was the son of the late James W. and Viella L. (Boyer) Hill. He was a 1941 graduate of Ontelaunee High School and was a member of Advent Lutheran Church in West Lawn. Mr. Hill was a Corporal in the United States Army Air Corp in World War II and was employed by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Jointers of America in Laureldale as a carpenter/superintendent for 38 years retiring in 1984. He was also a member of Isaac Heister Lodge #660 F&AM. Mr. Hill is survived by his son Dwane J. Hill husband of Sharon E. Hill of West Lawn and his daughter Carolyn R. Stover of Williamsport. He is also survived by his grandchildren Nevin White, Elaina White, Travis J. Hill and Dustin J. Hill. Also surviving are his brothers Galen Hill husband of Eleanor Hill of Temple and Leonard Hill husband of Gladys Hill of Reading along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson Lance and his brothers Gordon, Willard and Marvin.

Visitation:
The family will receive friends Wednesday 10-11:00 am with a Masonic Service conducted by Isaac Hiester Lodge #660 F&AM at 10:45 am.

Service:
Funeral Services will be held in Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 11:00 am. Rev. Mark Rigg officiating.

Cemetery:
Interment Pleasant View Cemetery.
