Edith Ada Crutcher Norris was born to the late Ludy Crutcher and Rutilla Atchison Crutcher in Rockwood, TX, Coleman County on November 3, 1928. She married her sweetheart, Vernon E Norris on February 25, 1949 in Coleman, Texas. They had a full and happy life of 61 years. To this union were born three children. She also has 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. For her 3 children, Edith loved to bake, sew clothes when they were small, and made them pretty quilts. Edith is preceded in death by her parents Ludy and Rutilla Crutcher, baby brother Gail, three sisters. and her husband Vernon. She is also survived by 2 sisters, and 1 brother; and several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Services for Edith will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2013 in the Candelwood Chapel at Ford Funeral Service.
