Delores June was born in Houston, Texas, to the late Luther Marcus and Margaret Irene (Barnett) Goodman. In 1948, she graduated from Elenor-McCarter Stewart, a private school, in Houston. For many years, Delores was employed as a secretary for Brakefield Real Estate and Insurance in Houston until her 1980 retirement. Following her professional career, in 1980, Delores left Houston and moved to Waco where she became a saleslady for Walmart until her 1991 retirement. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church of Waco where she was a member of the Ladies Sunday School Class. Throughout her life, Delores was an artist who enjoyed drawing.
Preceding her in death was a sister, Margaret Goodman.
Survivors include sister, Jean McNamara and husband, Pat, of Waco; nephews, Patrick McNamara and Michael McNamara; nieces, Margaret Gonzales and Elizabeth Franco; and many friends.
