Clifford D. Crow, 84, formerly of
Burlington, died at 3:20 a.m. Wednesday,
February 25, 2004, at New London
Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was the son of William Madison and
Myrtle Elizabeth Nelson Crow.

On July 24, 1941, he married Edna Lydia
Timmerman in Kahoka, Missouri.
She died December 12, 2002.

Mr. Crow farmed for 40 years. He also
worked as a welder for GE for
12 1/2 years. He was of the Protestant
faith. He was a WW II Army Veteran with
the rank of corporal. He was a member
of the New London Country Club. He
enjoyed fishing, hunting, was an avid
antique and coin collector and liked
going to yard sales.

Survivors include two sons, Randy Crow
of Burlington and Ronald Crow
of New London; seven grandchildren;
five great-grandchildren; one brother,
Hubert Crow of Galesburg, Illinois;
two sisters, Sabbie Miller of
Mediapolis and Irene Tremble of
Burlington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife, he was preceded
in rest by his parents, one sister,
six brothers and one daughter.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to
7 p.m. Sunday at Prugh's Chapel,
where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

The funeral for Mr. Crow will be at
10 a.m. Monday at Prugh's Chapel,
with the Rev. Dr. Gary Chapman officiating.
Burial with full military rites
conducted by VFW Posts 10102 & 9162,
American Legion Post 52 and the
Hamilton-Walters Marine Corps League will
be in Kossuth Cemetery in Mediapolis.

A memorial has been established for the
New London Country Club.
