North Sioux City - Beverly Ann Terrell, 72, of North Sioux City, passed away Monday, 7 Aug. 2006, at her residence.
Services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Dan Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. & a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
Beverly was born 17 Jan. 1934, in Elk Point, SD., to Elmer & Verna (Collins) Rosenbaum. She grew up & attended country school in the Elk Point area. She married Harvey Terrell on 17 Feb. 1951, in South Sioux City. The couple lived their entire lives in the North Sioux City & Elk Point area. She was a school bus driver for North Sioux City, Jefferson & McCook Lake School District for some time, then became a homemaker & mother to her children. She served on the election board for Union County, SD. & for the city of North Sioux City. She loved being with her family & friends, traveling, camping & spending time on the river. She is survived by her sons, Allen Terrell, Bryan Terrell & Cecil Schmitz & his wife, Monica, all of North Sioux City; 8 grandchildren & spouses, Megan Surber, Nicolle & Tom Anderson, Letitia Terrell, Genesis & Bill Smutzler, all of Sioux City, Angela & Eric Odegaard of Spencer, Iowa, Tanya & Shawn Morsbach of Virginia, & Michelle Rose & Christina Schmitz, both of North Sioux City; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 nephews & a niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey on 19 Jan. 1996; & a brother, Duane Rosenbaum.
Pallbeares will be Larry Cheney, Troy Rosenbaum, Shane Rosenbaum, Bill Smutzler, Randy Frederickson, & Rick Plueger.
