PEREZ, Christopher Michael 45, native of Tampa, passed away peacefully in his sleep Oct. 30, 2013. He is survived by and is the precious son of Frank and Yolie Perez; also survived by his loving children, Sheena and Frankie; granddaughter, Khylie; stepson, Joseba Aranza-mendi; brothers, David (Pat) Perez, and Wayne Perez; grandmother, Edelmira Perez Albano; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, countless friends including his fishing buddies and ballplayers. Chris was predeceased by his grandparents, Miguel and Marina Dieguez, Frank Perez, and Frank Albano. Chris graduated from Jefferson High School, attended West Tampa Boys Club and successfully played Jefferson baseball and football for Jefferson as well as football for the Boys Club. His love of sports carried over and he became a coach to countless young men. He taught these young men to play their hearts out, win or lose and also the fundamentals of life to love and respect. He owned his own company MADD Construction, named after his grandfather Miguel Angel Dieguez. Chris also enjoyed & loved fishing; he worked hard, played hard and lived life to the fullest. Chris leaves you with his signature smile and the words "Good things come to those who Believe, better things come to those who are patient and the best things come to those who don't give up."
