Fern C. Hughes, 94, died October 31, 2013 in Oklahoma City. She was born November 16, 1918 in Tuttle, OK, the daughter of Jesse B. and Annie M. (Jacobs) Campbell. Fern married Harold E. Hughes on December 30, 1939 in Oklahoma City. She was a member of Putnam City Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, sisters, J.O. Bradford and Veda Borger, brother, Junior Campbell. Survivors include a son, Gene Hughes and wife Jan, Abilene, TX; grandchildren, Jeff Hughes and wife Hannah, Muncie, IN, Kim Morgan and husband Phil, Anna, TX; great grandchildren, Brady Morgan, Blake Morgan and Dakota Hughes. Viewing will be Monday, 9am-9pm at Mercer-Adams, with the family present from 4pm-6pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 5, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, OK, with burial following in Rose Hill Burial Park.
