BURN RESULTS FATALLY

Two-Year-Old Daughter of John C. Asbre (sic/Asbra) Dies from Burns
(Wynot Tribune)

While engaged in the family working Monday morning an accident happened at the home of John C. Asbre (sic/Asbra) which resulted in the death of their 2-year old daughter. The little girl fell backward and and sat down into a candy pail of boiling hot water. Its screams brought the mother to its rescue, but not before it was scalded over about two-thirds of the body. Dr. Tulleson was called and did all he could to relieve the little sufferer but its life could not be saved, and after lingering until Tuesday noon, death came to the relief of the little girl. The funeral will be conducted Thursday morning and the remains laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery at St. James. Mr. and Mrs. Asbre (sic/Asbra) have the sincere sympathy of all in their sad bereavement.

Little Sadie Asbre (sic/Asbra) was two years old in June, and was a strikingly beautiful child of a loving disposition.
