Rosa Mae "Rosie" Baker age 91 of Ash, went home to be with the Lord on Friday November 1, 2013 at the SECU Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center Bolivia, NC.
She was born on December 26, 1921, the daughter of the late Dexter Browning and Edna Hewett Browning. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Baker, two brothers, Johnny Browning and Billy Browning and a sister, Jerry Stanley.
Mrs. Rosie was a member of Trinity Pentecostal-Holiness Church in Ash. The world has lost a great lady and God Just got a great Angel.
Surviving are a son, James Baker and wife, Rosemary of Ash, NC; a sister, Lettie Spencer of Suffolk, VA; three grandchildren, James Adam Baker and wife, Kim, Renee Greene and husband, James, and Rebecca Lockamy and husband, Keith; six great-grandchildren, Jonathan Baker, Austin Baker, Adam Greene, Trevor Greene, Daniel Greene, and Tiffany Greene; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday November 6, 2013 at the Full Life Fellowship by Pastor Donnie Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery.
