Illene (Ratliff) Huddleston, 87, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, was called home by the Lord on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Illene was born September 7, 1926 in McLean, Texas to James "Jim" and Avo (Beesley) Ratliff. She spent her youth in the Spring Creek and Gracemont area. She married Jennings Huddleston in January 1944. They lived in the Gracemont area for 20 years and then moved to Mustang where she began working for HUD. (Housing Urban Development) She retired in 1986 after 22 years of dedicated service to be a caregiver to her husband, who was wounded in World War II. She was a loving homemaker and considered her husband, son's, grandchildren and great grandchildren her greatest joy and accomplishment. Illene was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Gracemont.

Illene is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jennings; three brothers: J.B., Finas and Lyndon Ratliff.

Survivors include her son's: Ron Huddleston and wife, Sharon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, David Huddleston and wife, Guyline of Gracemont, Oklahoma and Monte Huddleston and wife, Pat of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; Grandchildren: Jenni Kirtley and husband, Brian of Washington, Oklahoma, Steven Huddleston of Duncan, Oklahoma, Marc Huddleston of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Kyle Huddleston of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; six great grandson's: Kaden, Case and Conner Kirtley of Washington, Oklahoma, Jackson, Easton and Dawson Huddleston of Marlow, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the Church of Christ in Gracemont, Oklahoma with Donnie Huddleston, officiating. Burial will follow in the Gracemont Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Anadarko, Oklahoma.
