Jerry Arthur Brewer, 73, of Colcord, Oklahoma, died November 1, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Arkansas. Born January 23, 1940, in Bentonville, Arkansas, he was the son of James Arthur Brewer and Clara Bartles Brewer. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. Jerry married Judy Stanley on December 22, 1977, in Miami, Oklahoma. He lived most of his life in Northwest Arkansas, and Northeast Oklahoma, where he was a carpenter. Jerry was a member of the Harvard Avenue Baptist Church, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his wife Judy in 2013, and his parents.
Survivors include one son, Jim Stanley and wife Alicia of Watts, Oklahoma; two daughters, Donna Bartlett of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Karisha Fuentes of Westville, Oklahoma; two brothers, Larry Brewer, Jim Brewer and wife Linda, all of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; five sisters, Janet Johnson (late husband Jim Johnson) of Joplin, Missouri, Wanda Smith and husband Floyd of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Barbara Ann Gray and husband Dennis of Colcord, Oklahoma, Margaret Strickland and husband Guy of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Pam Harrison and husband Larry of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 4, 2013, at Baptist Mission Cemetery, Westville, Oklahoma, with Pastor Jim Henderson officiating
