Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until funeral time. Military honors will be held by the United Veterans League at 1:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be observed at 3:00 p.m. with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Rebstock; sons, Joseph "Joey" Rebstock, Jr. and wife Debbie, Charles Michael Rebstock; step-sons, Timmy Vegas and wife Jessica, Tommy Vegas and wife Cassie, Todd Vegas and wife Leona; step-daughters, Pam Cannatella and husband Robert, Melissa Pizani and husband Chris; sister, Inez Cheramie; grandchildren, Cullen Joseph Rebstock, Tyler James Rebstock; 9 step-grandchildren, 11 step-great grandchildren, 1 step-great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Theresa "Boogie" Ledet Rebstock; parents, Whitney and Blanche Rebstock; brothers, Linton Rebstock, Morris Rebstock.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman who spent every free moment at his camp in East Golden Meadow. He was a great humanitarian who helped many people. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
