Notes: Victor L. Bremer, national advertising manager of the Lorain Journal, died last night following a heart attack at his home, 1014 11th Street, Lorain. He was 55. A native of Lorain, Mr. Bremer attended St. Mary's Parochial School, was graduated from Lorain High School in 1920 and attended Miami University at Oxford. He worked for the Toledo Blade two years and was with the Lorain Journal 31 years. He had been national advertising manager for the last three years. Mr. Bremer was active in Boy Scout work. He was past president of the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and a member of the Lions Club and the Lorain Chamber of Commerce. Survivors are his wife, Irene; sons, Louis and Noel; daughters, Linda Marcia and Mrs. William Stough; his father, Louis Bremer of Norwalk, and a sister. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Reidy-Scanlan funeral home, 2150 Broadway. Lorain, and 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.

VICTOR L. BREMER, 55, DIES OF HEART ATTACK; WITH JOURNAL 30 YEARS

Victor L. Bremer, 55, of 1014 11th St, an employee of the Journal for 30 years and manager of national advertising the past three years, died unexpectedly last evening after a heart attack in his home.

He was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Joseph Hospital at 6:50 pm. He had not been feeling well for the past 10 days.
Mr. Bremer was employed as a display advertising salesman for The Journal April 1 1928. He had worked a short time for the Toledo News Bee and as a display advertising salesman for the old Lorain Times Herald.
He was display advertising manager for The Journal for several years before assuming the position of national advertising manager.

Born in Lorain June 10, 1903, Mr. Bremer attended St. Mary School and graduated from Lorain High School in 1920. He was also a graduate of Miami University.
A former member of St. Joseph Church, he was past president of the Holy Name Society there and was active in boy scout work in the church. He was a member of St. Mary Church, the Lorain Lions Club, the Lorain Chamber of Commerce and the newspaper Advertising Executives Association. Survivors are his wife Irene; two sons, Louis and Noel, and three daughters, Linda, a teacher at Lakeview School, Mrs. William Stough, and Marcia, all of Lorain. He is also survived by his father Louis Bremer, and a sister Mrs Robert Rash, both of Norwalk. His mother Clara died in 1954. Friends may call after 7 pm today at the Riedy Scanlan Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Saturday in the funeral home and 11 am at St. Mary Church. Msgr James J Duffy will be celebrant for a high mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
