Ancestral DNA projects seem to indicate that Jeremiah may be from the same line as Col. George F. Taylor (1711-1792), son of Thomas Taylor who was a Knight of the Golden Horseshoe. It's unclear, however, if Jeremiah was a son of George F. Taylor.
