Shreveport, LA - Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Martell Anderson, Sr, 89, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 3, 2013 at New Boggy Baptist Church, Bethany, La, and officiated by Pastor Lonnie Hamilton, Jr. Family Hour will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. Good Samaritan Funeral Home. Interment will be Monday, November 4, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Northwest Veteran Cemetery.
He is survived by his children: Martell (Lindell) Anderson, Jr. of Shreveport, LA, Carolyn Dixon of Bethany, LA, Jeronica (Cynthia) Anderson of Baton Rouge, LA, Louie Anderson of Bethany, LA, Dwiett (Tammy) Anderson of Round Rock, TX, Donald (Tonya) Stephen, Shreveport, LA, two brothers, one sister, twenty two grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of Southern Hills HealthCare & Rehabilitation, Promise Hospital of Shreveport, and the staff of Willis Knighton North.
