Daughter Odressie Philip Pitre (born in Houma 1891) and of Ezar Bernadette Engeron, Louisiana Cajuns. Wife of Juan Alberto Garay, founder of First Spanish-Amerian Baptist Church in New Orleans. Juan was born in Nicaragua. Adopting mother of Anthony Paul "Tony" Garay. Lived most of her life in New Orleans and worked at a clothing factory.
