William Afton (Pete) Beaven, 72, Corydon, died Monday, July 23, 2007, at Kindred Healthcare in Louisville. Born June 6, 1935, in LaGrange, Ky., he was the son of the late William Owen and Harriet Agnes Bowman Beaven. He was retired from Kindred Healthcare in Louisville. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, William Afton Beaven Jr. and William James Beaven, and a sister, Fannie Mae Foltun. Survivors include a daughter, Harriet Bratcher of Morgantown, Ky.; a brother, John Beaven of Corydon; three sisters, Francis Radmar of Byrneville, Stella Froman of Clarksville and Catherine Suttles of Corydon; and a grandson. Funeral services will be private. Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon is handling arrangements.
