He is survived by one son, Roy Lentz Jr. of Hartselle; one brother, Donald Lentz of Hartselle; five sisters, Betty Parker of Athens, Ellen Johnson of Oxford, Elizabeth Cobb of Grand Bay, Estie Cox of Athens, and Beulah McLemore of Athens.
