Mrs. Lizzie Bell Sullivan, 74, of Apple Springs, died Sunday afternoon in a local hospital after an illness of three weeks. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Bennett Church in Trinity County. Rev. Billie Durham officiated and burial was in the Bennett Cemetery.

Mrs. Sullivan was born January 7, 1878, in Houston County. In 1921 she moved to Angelina County, but for the past three years had made her home in Trinity County. She was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Survivors include:
6 sons, Adell Sullivan, Calvin Sullivan, Timothy Sullivan, Henry Sullivan, Edward Sullivan and Joseph Sullivan; three daughters, Mrs. Mabell Dunn, Mrs. Lears Smith and Mrs. Liddie Hart
21 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren.
