John Breeman, born 86 years ago in New Almaden, will be buried Thursday in Calvary Cemetery following graveside rites at 9 a.m.
Breeman, retired farmer, lived at 1833 Almaden Rd., prior to entering the convalescent hospital where he died Monday.
He was the husband of the late Carmelita (Higuera) Breeman, descendant of the Higuera family recipient of a Mexican grant to land in the east foothills of the early 1800s. Mrs. Breeman died in 1958.
Breeman was the son of the late Marinus Breeman, who came here from Holland in the 1880s.
The Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight in the Williams Funeral Chapel.
