H. C. Lane, 80, of Lawton, Oklahoma, died Wednesday, August 25, 2004, in Lawton, Oklahoma. The native of Mulberry was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Central Baptist Church, Mount Scott Masonic Lodge No. 540 and Disabled American Veterans. He retired from civil service in 1979 and worked as a custodian for Lawton Public Schools from 1980 to 1989.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters, two sisters, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held August 28 at Becker Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Veteran's Field of Honor at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lawton.
