Vicky was born on July 31, 1950, in Portland, Oregon, to Max (Del) and Twylla Delashmutt. She resided there until 1956, when the family moved to Everett, Washington. She attended Everett Schools and was in the graduating class of 1969 at Cascade High School. While married, she lived in several states. After her divorce, she returned to Everett, Washington, with her three children. Soon after, she became employed by Providence Hospital, where she worked for 16 years, making many of her friends. Her hobbies included working in her garden, playing poker, and camping in the mountains with her best friend and husband, Dean Ballou.
Vicky is survived by her two daughters, Jeannie Priser, and Jennifer (Eli) Alford; her papa, Max (Del) DeLashmutt; sister, Dawn (Mike Gruol; brother, Del Ray (Veronica) Delashmutt; and her six grandchildren, the absolute joys in her life. She is also survived by a niece, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many good friends.
Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2005, at Solie Funeral Home. A private interment will be held at a later date.
