Rachel was born March 7, 1990, at Topeka, KS.

She attended Jeff West USD #340 schools until her sophomore year then attended Frankfort High School for her junior year, 2007-2008.

A funeral service was held in Frankfort on Friday, June 20, 2008, 2:30 p.m., at the Frankfort High School. A funeral service was also held in Meriden, KS, on Saturday, June 21, 2:00 p.m., at the Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home. Burial was in the Meriden City Cemetery.

Rachel enjoyed music. She participated in vocal competitions, played the French Horn and loved riding motorcycles. She also enjoyed walking and visiting with people of all ages.

She worked at Cambridge Nursing Home in Marysville, KS, and was in the process of obtaining certification as a CNA.

Survivors include her parents; four sisters; one brother; grandparents; and great-grandparents. She was preceded in death by one infant brother.

A memorial has been established and contributions may be sent in care of Padden Funeral Home, 101 E. 3rd, Frankfort, KS 66427.
