Deceased Name: Vina M. Bottger

CHETOPA - Vina M. Bottger, 91, of rural Chetopa, died at her home Monday, Nov. 15, 1999.
She was born Feb. 28, 1908, near Summerfield to Albert and Sarah (Phelps) Cox. She lived most of her life around Fairbury, Neb. She married Martin D. Bottger on Sept. 24, 1926, in Fairbury. He preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 1986.
They owned the Martin Furniture Store in Fairbury for a number of years. Shemoved to the Chetopa area in July 1999. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Endicott, Neb., the United Methodist Women and the Endicott Women's Group at the church in Nebraska.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Kudritzki of San Ramon, Calif.; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, two sisters, and one brother.
The service will be at the Endicott United Methodist Church in Endicott, Neb., at a later date. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery in Fairbury, Neb. Memorials to the Endicott United Methodist Church may be left at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury, Neb.
