Raymond M. Bell, 78, formerly of Dunbar, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, in Barclay Friends Nursing Home, West Chester. He was born May 10, 1934, in Dunbar, son of the late Michael Bell and the late Sylvia Bellone Bell. He retired as a district manager for Mellon Bank, Philadelphia area. He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, former member of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed sports, cooking. He loved music, singing in various church choirs in the Philadelphia area and the St. Aloysius choir. Surviving are brother, Michael Bell and wife, Agnes, of Dunbar; sisters, Ann Palladino, of Connellsville, Connie Connors, of Parma Heights, Ohio, and Rosemary Kennick and husband, Chuck, of Parma Heights, Ohio; devoted family friend and caretaker, Joe Cervino, of West Chester; and many nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by sister, Lucy Mancini; brothers, Vincent and Leonard; and nephew, Paul Palladino. Friends will be received from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville St., Dunbar. Parish wake at 2:30 p.m. and Rosary at 4 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church with Father Micah E. Kozoil officiating. Entombment will follow in Green Ridge, Connellsville.
