The Garland family soon moved to the Tulsa area where Kenny was raised. He was a 1965 graduate of Tulsa Central High School. Mr. Garland was a salesman by trade and worked for Rexel Electrical Supplies. He was also a longtime member of the Elks Lodge 2712 Cushing-Drumright. Kenny's passion was motorcycles and he relished his time spent riding. He was able to participate in a Sturgis Rally and numerous toy and poker runs.
Surviving Kenny are his mother; two brothers; sister-in-law; two sisters; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Preceding Kenny in death were his father, Otis M. Garland; wife, Jeri Lynn Garland; son, Kenneth G. Garland; and stepson, Harold J. Morris.
Viewing and visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2013.
Services have been entrusted to Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service with a funSeeral scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Mobley-Dodson Chapel with Reverend Connie Ichord officiating. Military honors will immediately follow with interment at Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs. (Mobley Dodson)
