Wes Jensen was born in Soda Springs, Idaho, on Dec. 8, 1959, to Roger and Joan Harwood Jensen.

He enjoyed a happy childhood. He then joined the Marines as a mechanic, as a young man serving in California where he married and had his first son Anthony Mark in 1978. Later, he divorced and moved to Montana to be with his family and later married Patty and had his second son Chad Michael in 1987, who died of complications at birth. Soon after, Wes and Patty went their separate ways...always remaining the best of friends. Wes spent his time doing the things he loved most cooking, hanging out with friends, anything mechanical, always playing jokes to make people, as well as himself smile. All babies and children loved Wes, as he loved them.

Sadly he passed away on Aug. 18, 2011, from complications of a long illness. All who knew and loved him well miss him.

His son Chad Michael; maternal grandparents; and paternal grandfather preceded Wes in death.

He is survived by his father Roger Jensen; his mother Joan Jensen; a son Anthony Mark; siblings Rhonda (Darwin) Sell, Jill (Ray) White and Tamara (Shane) Paul; his paternal grandmother Edna Thornock, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial graveside services will be held 12 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, in the Colstrip Cemetery. Following the service, a luncheon will be provided for all friends and family at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 115 Cherry Street, Colstrip, Montana.
