Funeral services for Barbara F. Hutchinson, 72, of Delhi will be held at 11AM, Monday, August 2, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Delhi with Rev. Mickey Bounds officiating.
Burial will be in the Faith Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Delhi from 6-9PM.
Barbara was a long time resident of Delhi, a member of the First Baptist Church and a retired Day Care Center Operator.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Durwood Barnes and Beatrice Rose Anderson Barnes; two siblings, Gene Barnes and Audrey Bateman and a grandson, Ramsey Reese.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy E. "Joe" Hutchinson of Delhi, a daughter, Cathy Palmarchuk and husband John of Arlington, TX; five sons, Hutch Hutchinson and wife Laurie of Metairie, LA; Marty Reese and wife Dorothy of Vicksburg, MS, Butch Hutchinson and significant other Brandi Durand of Calhoun, LA, Tiger Hutchinson and wife Joanna of Delhi, LA and Ricky Hutchinson of Delhi, LA and twelve grandchildren.
She is also survived by four brothers, Pete Barnes of Shreveport, LA, Terry Barnes of Granbury, TX, Tince Barnes of Mandeville, LA and Bub Barnes of Birmingham, LA; two sisters, Dixie Upchurch of Conway, AR and Peggy West of Mandeville, LA along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Derek Reese, Randy Hutchinson, Michael Palmarchuk, Brandon Hutchinson, Logan Hutchinson and Austin Hutchinson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Granddaugthers & Deacons of First Baptist Church of Delhi.
