Harold Wayne Moore, 79, passed away October 26, 2013 in a Lubbock hospital. He was born March 11, 1934 in Johnson Chapel the son of Matt and Elsie Hamner Moore. He married Hazel Mae Walker and she preceded him in death on February 19, 2009. He was a longtime resident of Garner and a member of the First Baptist Church of Garner. He owned the Brazos Shopping Center Barber Shop. He was a veteran of the US Army. Services will be 10 AM Friday, November 1, 2013 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Larry and Elaine Murphy of Springtown, step-daughters: Shannon Bell of Ballew Springs, Sheryl Wiklund of Weatherford, grandchildren: Laura Deane of Fort Worth, Brittany Fields of Paradise, Austin Murphy of Fort Worth, 3 great-grandchildren, brother: Charlie Moore of Aspermont, sisters: Vera Clements of Aspermont, Carol Young of Snyder, Sue Cooper of Lake Palo Pinto, and 19 nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents and sister: Margie Herbert.
