At the time of Lucy's death in 1927 she was survived by her husband, Joseph b. 2 Oct 1862, four sons and her daughter M. Anna (Dube) Legasse b. Sep 1898. Their sons were:

- Charles G. b. Jan 1887
- Phillip b. Apr 1892
- Alfred [Fred] b. Aug 1894
She was also survived by four sisters.
