Adolph Leo Lenzini, age 84, of Kenosha, WI, formerly of North Chicago, passed on Monday, October 28, 2013, at Hospitality Nursing and Rehab in Kenosha. He was born in Macon, MO to Ralph and Bernice (Zuccarini) Lenzini on November 30, 1928 and married Veronica Urbanik on June 12, 1948 at Holy Rosary Church (Most Blessed Trinity, formerly Queen of Peace) in North Chicago.

Adolph retired from U.S. Steel after 32 years of employment and then did maintenance work at a grade school in Bannockburn for 10 years. He belonged to Queen of Peace Church and the U.S. Steel Retirees Club and liked to fish and hunt in his spare time.

Adolph is survived by his two sons, David (Carolyn) Lenzini of Booneville, MS and Richard (Heidi) Lenzini of Kenosha, WI; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Butch Lenzini of Macon, MO and Leo (Angie) Lenzini of Highland Park, IL; and sister, Nancy Lenzini of Zion, IL.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Veronica, in October 2012.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 31, from 4:00-7:00pm at the Salata Gurnee Funeral Home, 4190 Old Grand Ave., Gurnee. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 1, at 10:00am at Most Blessed Trinity Church (Queen of Peace), 910 14th Street, North Chicago, with visitation from 9:00am until the time of mass. Entombment will follow in Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville.
