Karen Owens Bowers, age 60, of Bristol, TN, went to be with the Lord, Friday, October 25, 2013 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Bristol, Tennessee on September 12, 1953, a daughter of the late Jack Lee and Judy Snyder Owens. Karen was a 1971 graduated Tennessee High School in 1971 and graduated of Virginia Intermont College in 1975 with a BA in Music Education. She worked for Bristol Regional Counseling Center for 15 years and was a lifelong resident of Bristol. Karen was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by Husband of 30 years: David Bowers Children Troy Bowers, Denette Riley, Bridget Worley, Felicia Booher and Tonya Bowers Grandchildren: Justin Worley, Brittany Worley, Ashley Worley, Joe Riley, Kristian Keith, Dakota Keith, Lindsey Booher and Courtney Booher Great Grandchildren Lucy Booher and Nora Worley
