She was born at Ripley, April 20, 1876, daughter of George H. and Cordelia (Puffer) Thurston. Mrs. Forgette lived in Portland and Boston before moving to Dexter 25 years ago. She was a milliner and had studied china painting.
She was a charter member of the Auxiliary of Shirley B. Carter Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a member of the Dexter Woman's Literary Club, the U. F. Club, Plummer Memorial Hospital Associates and the Universalist Ladies' Aid.
